Color/Appearance: Reddish Brown streaked
Grain/Texture: Medium density timber, similar to Kiaat. No problems with machining or finishing.
Boire - AKA: Detax, Ditakh, Detar, and Tallow. From West Africa that is a good source of quality timber.
Similar in many respects to Kiaat, useful when Kiaat is in short supply, and in it's own right. Makes a striking floor. Would also be good for interior furniture and cabinetmaking. Variegated colouring.
